Wednesday evenings are the latest addition to the Adelaide break beat scene - the Adelaide Beats Collective - play their laid back, funky breaks in the front bar from 9pm. Featuring DJs Lachy Pender, Dusk, Noodle and Sparks on a monthly rotation, it makes for an ideal chill out destination.

Thursday's see the reintroduction of Adelaide's local original bands to the Austral. 'The Austral returns to it's roots', Rip It UP Magazine. A new home has been made for those bands looking to find a platform to air their talents. The Austral is helping to bring all original bands together to support each other and entertain in a great quality venue. Bands appearing at the Austral are hand picked by Austral, to ensure that each Thursday night every patron is treated to good quality wholesome entertainment.

What better way to bring in the weekend and celebrate the end of a hard working week than with the Austral newest recruit - 'After Work Sessions'. Every Friday from 5pm enjoy one of Adelaide's best acoustic artists, Shane Wolf, full service menu and awesome drink specials.

On Fridays, the Austral's best mate, Coopers, come on board for the Coopers Block Party. There are cheap Coopers products from 7pm and DJ Benef@ktr plays awesome party and dance tunes all night from 9. Whether you come straight from the office, or are out for the long haul the Coopers Block Party is an best way to end the working week.

Saturdays is our treat to those who like to sing and dance with Adelaide's most in demand cover bands. To make sure you don�t miss a beat, for good measure, a DJ plays your requests and favourite hits.

Sundays are over flowing with entertainment. So much so we've split them onto 2 stages. For that lazy afternoon bottle of wine and plate of dips, we give you Sunday Sessions, hand picked acoustic solo/duo/trio artists.

Following on from Sunday Sessions, we bring you the one and only night dedicated to partying in the renowned Bunka, situated at the back of the hotel. In a fully sound proofed and self-contained funked out area, the Austral supplies some awesome house and funky elektro from our onsite boys DJ Benef@ktr and Chris D. With free entry from 9pm, Dig Deep in the Bunka is ideal for industry workers, or simply anyone wishing to enjoy a cocktail in a new, funky environment, and with classic tunes.
